Service Description
**American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & First Aid Certification** The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid course provides training to recognize life-threatening emergencies and respond with high-quality CPR, effective ventilations, early AED use, and appropriate first aid care. This course follows the American Heart Association 2025 Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Training is suitable for workplace, school, regulatory, or personal preparedness needs. Certification credentials are valid for **2 years**. **Designed For:** Healthcare professionals and personnel requiring CPR and basic cardiovascular life support skills in in-facility and prehospital settings. **Course Covers:** * High-quality CPR (adult, child, infant) * AHA Chain of Survival (BLS components) * Early AED use * Barrier device ventilations * First aid training for a variety of medical and injury emergencies * Team dynamics in multirescuer CPR * Relief of choking (adult and infant) Recognized as the gold standard in CPR and first aid training.

Cancellation Policy
Booking Policies All students must accept the terms and conditions of our booking policies prior to registration. Our policies are designed to ensure fairness and efficiency in managing class enrollments. Many of our classes fill up quickly, and last-minute cancellations or no-shows prevent other students from taking advantage of available seats. ________________________________________ Cancellation Policy • Students may cancel a booking 72 hours or more prior to the course date and time to receive a partial refund (up to 95% of booking fees). • If a student cancels less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours before the course date and time, they may receive a partial refund (up to 50% of booking fees, less any deposits). • Cancellations within 24 hours of the course date and time are not eligible for refunds. However, students will have the option to reschedule once per the reschedule policy. ________________________________________ Reschedule Policy • Students may reschedule a course at no cost if the request is made at least 48 hours before the course. • Students may only reschedule once, and rescheduled appointments are not eligible for cancellation or refunds. • If a reschedule request is made within 48 hours of the course, a $25 reschedule fee could be applied. • If a student is marked as a "no-call, no-show" and requests to reschedule, they will be required to pay the full catalog price of the desired course before registration. ________________________________________ No-Show Policy • Students who do not contact us via phone or email prior to the course and do not attend will be deemed a "No-call, no-show." • No refunds will be issued for no-call, no-show students, as they have occupied a seat that could have been taken by another paying student. • If a student had only paid a deposit and has not paid the remaining balance, their card will be charged a $40 fee in the event of a no-call, no-show.
